Types of consultancy

COWI's mission is to provide independent and impartial advice within the spheres of engineering, environment and socio-economics. Our consultancy services are broad-based and flexible, catering for the whole range from analysis through design to operating the client's facilities.

Situation-responsive consultancy

COWI's consultancy services are in many cases triggered by the client's acquisition of production facilities, IT systems, buildings, other industrial facilities etc.; and in other circumstances by problems arising from more exacting standards of efficiency, the need for maintenance or perhaps changes in environmental legislation. COWI's competencies also come into play in the analysis of the consequences and strategic implications associated with the range of options facing the client.

Finally, our professional competencies can be integrated within so-called "off the shelf" products and solutions, whether they be IT systems, databases or standard solutions for the most frequently experienced problems.

Consultancy all the way

COWI is with the client all the way from conception through implementation to operation and phasing out, providing feasibility studies, investigations, design, construction management and supervision, client advice, project consultancy, operations consultancy and decommissioning consultancy.

During this process, design and project control are important categories of consultancy. Their province is design, formulation of performance infrastructure and organisation of performance or implementation.
COWI's remit also includes work within planning, consultancy and expert services, research and development as well as education and training.

Where circumstances dictate, we can also subcontract employees on a short or long-term basis to work under the client's umbrella.
