GIS-/IT strategy
The objective of developing IT strategies and action plans is to create a basis for optimum use of GIS and other IT solutions in both private companies and public institutions.
Efficient use of GIS-/IT solutions requires that all working operations and routines function satisfactorily.
We map working operations
COWI’s consultants can - in co-operation with the management and employees of the company - carry out a systematic mapping of all relevant working operations.
Based on our consultants’ experience and competence, new and improved working operations can be developed based on the objective and strategy of the company.
An element in this process is to identify changes to existing IT solutions and possibly new IT solutions that support the improved working operations.
IT strategy
The IT strategy defines the main objectives and standards for the work area of the company and the related use of information technology.
The action plan can be established as a catalogue of ideas with specific proposals for projects that can be implemented to ensure the best results from the investments - both with regard to economy and resources.
