Buildings, airports

Our services related to design and construction of airport buildings includes planning, design, tendering and supervision of the facilities. We also have extensive experience with project management both in the design phase and during the construction phase. Our experience is founded on many years of involvement in airport building projects as well as other complex building projects

Airport buildings

Airport buildings encompass many specialised buildings such as passenger terminal buildings, control towers, cargo buildings, hangars, airport maintenance buildings and fire and rescue stations.

A number of other buildings also play an important part in many airports. Administrative buildings, car park buildings, catering buildings and hotels are examples of airport related buildings.

We have design experience with most types of such airport buildings and their interfaces with the civil works.

The Client's objectives and organisation

Our aim is always to ensure that the Client's objectives are fulfilled. Therefore, the first planning step should be to define these objectives in cooperation with the Client. They are typically:

  • A high level of architectural quality
  • A flexibility that can match the constant development of a modern airport
  • A high level of functionality with respect to comfort and cost efficiency

The design is developed together with the Client's architect or we may establish a joint venture with an architect to provide the Client with a total design package.
