Structural monitoring and maintenance

COWI has developed a system for integrating acquired data from structural monitoring systems with bridge management and maintenance systems. The system is based on automatic bridge rating and early warning systems.

Hereby the services concerning structural dynamics are a part of the overall maintenance systems for large bridges and tunnels.

Vibration control

Our services also include design of active and passive damping systems for the control of dynamic impacts on structures or structures’ dynamic impact on the surrounding environment.
