Tomas Bergendahl joins COWI Executive Management as new Group CFO

​Tomas Bergendahl has been appointed new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for COWI.

​Tomas Bergendahl, 40 years old, is currently Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Rederi AB TransAtlantic (RABT). RABT is a leading Swedish listed shipping company with headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, and additional offices in Europe.

Previously, Tomas Bergendahl has held positions as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at GKN Aerospace Engine Systems (formerly Volvo Aero Corporation, VAC) and various executive positions at Volvo Aero Corporation. Tomas Bergendahl holds a M.Sc. in Business and Economics from the University of Luleå and a degree within Commerce from the University of Abertay, Dundee, in the UK.

Tomas Bergendahl joins COWI on 1 June. He will replace Keld Sørensen, who is leaving COWI after serving the company as CFO since 2000 heading up Finance, Mergers & Aquisitions, Group IT, and Facility Management.
