Keller's Park is located in scenic surroundings between Vejle and Fredericia in Jutland. In this area the Kellers Park Hotelbyg/Comwell has converted a number of former public welfare buildings into an exclusive five star spa- and conferencehotel. Proximity to nature is part of the attraction and the development plan therefore also includes the construction of a golf course and a new marina.
COWI was consulting engineer on the hotel project which comprises the refurbishment of about 13,000 m2 distributed between three existing buildings from the beginning of the 20th century. An additional 2,500 m2 was built to connect the existing buildings and contain a fully equipped spa with facilities for massage, spa treatments, fitness and swimming. The spa was included in the hotel project in order to differentiate the Keller's Park Hotel from its competitors. The aim is to provide guests with an all-round experience which not only includes accommodation but also entertainment and recreational opportunities for everyone. The refurbishment was completed in 2007. With a capacity of about 100 rooms and 10 penthouses the hotel will be ready to open in March 2008.
