GIS training and support

We want our customers to gain optimum advantage from our products and solutions. Therefore we offer standard courses, customised training, network meetings, consultancy and hotline support.

To gain full benefit from the investment in a GIS solution, it is very important that the employees become familiar with the GIS system. Through participation in COWI's GIS courses or network meetings, the attendees can acquire knowledge and tools that subsequently can be implemented and rooted in their daily work.

Courses
COWI offers a number of standardised or customised GIS courses. Our courses are held in groups of maximum 10 persons and they are based on practical exercises or the daily work of the attendees. Hence, we ensure that the courses become as meaningful to the attendees as possible.

To further extend the use of GIS to the public administration, we also organise customised courses for specialised users such as building experts and people dealing with road, operation, planning, nature and environmental issues. 
It is also possible to draw on our knowledge and experience in connection with workshops.

Support
COWI's GIS consultants offer support by telephone, e-mail or personal contact. The support includes solution-oriented support for installation, set-up, completion of small data tasks (conversion, digitisation, etc.) and individual consultancy. The support is offered for COWI's own software products or software from MapInfo or Bentley.

Network meetings
Knowledge sharing through network meetings increases the use of GIS and inspires everybody to continue using GIS. At all network meetings, we invite external speakers who, based on own experience, can give new inspiration.

We arrange network meetings and user group meetings in relation to both MapInfo and Bentley software.
