Seven sets of orthophotos Since 1962, COWI has overflown Denmark and nationwide aerial photography has been carried out as from 1995. COWI now possesses nationwide digital orthophotos from 1995, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012.
As opposed to a technical or topographic map, the orthophoto is an uninterpreted map product. As interpretation is left to the user, this makes the orthophoto a good supplement to other digital maps.
