Leading consulting group with a 360° approach
Many companies are facing severe needs for growth or refinancing in order to ensure a continuous, sustainable development of the business. The private equity industry plays an important role to meet these needs. Financial investors have positioned themselves in the M&A market as important players in the consolidation and development of many sectors within industry and commerce.
COWI provides transaction advice based on our core business within environment, health & safety, social aspects and our profound knowledge of the financial industries' investment cycle and risk profile associated with transactions.
ExitsCOWI assists in improving the presentation of the environmental situation relative to the asset(s). This can be achieved through prospects or data room documentation. This can also be achieved by upgrading environmental aspects prior to the actual due diligence process in order to improve the position of negotiation.
AcquisitionAccess to documentation is often limited to data room reviews for many due diligence processes. COWI can assist in assessing the risk potential based on review of such documentation. If exclusivity is agreed, there will often be permission to access the individual assets included in the transaction (phase 1). We assist customers in improving the understanding of the potential liabilities through phase 1 environmental site assessments. With the rapid mobilisation requirements, COWI's vast resource base is a definite asset.
Value addedIn case of significant financial implications in a transaction, an additional investigation support can reduce the uncertainty. We assist in upgrading business and operational performance to ensure that the business value added is implemented before the planned exit.
