International environmental agreements 

Reduction of cross-border pollution and protection against global environmental threats are regulated by international agreements on e.g. nature protection and civil society involvement in environmental planning.

  • planning of national implementation
  • inventories of emissions and pollutant contributions
  • development of adjustment mechanisms, such as taxes/duties, trade in emission permits, bans, information campaigns, etc.
