Development of contaminated sites

We assist in the development of contaminated sites and form creative and multidisciplinary solutions.
We work closely with the developer, or seller of the site, long before the site is sold. In this way we are able to optimise the development possibilities together.

Soil handling

To ensure an optimal handling of soil it is important that preliminary investigations are conducted. COWI ensures that these investigations are planned and conducted so that reuse of surplus soil and removal of the remaining soil are available options.

Groundwater control

COWI supplies consultancy services for groundwater control. These can include preliminary investigations, design of temporary and permanent installations for lowering of the groundwater level and re-infiltration facilities. Activities can also include a technical and economic evaluation of preventive measures. Finally, our services also include monitoring and management of preventive measures.
