Land streamer
COWI has developed a flexible land streamer seismic concept to meet a wide range of environmental and engineering applications.
Innovative seismic solutions
High-resolution shallow to moderately deep seismic investigations are employed through the use of the Geometrics® geode distributed acquisition system. The standard configuration consists of a 200 meter long array composed of 95 geophones towed behind a Minibuggy all-terrain vehicle containing the seismic source.
The seismic source is the self-contained vibrator Minivib II produced by IVI. The applied energy force ranging from 27 kN to 54 kN and output bandwidth of 10-300 Hz provide a flexible capability to investigate varied geological situations.
Experience
COWI has extensive experience applying this innovative approach to a wide range of applications. Since developing the system we have successfully produced more than 400 km of seismic mapping on a variety of projects.
Our expanding pool of professionals is available to meet your geophysical requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring the highest quality.
Key advantages are:
Cost effectiveness
State-of-the-art equipment
Flexible operational setups
Experienced professionals
Flexible solutions
We are available to advise you on innovative solutions for your geophysical requirements following our high standards of quality and dedication.
