The national, cartographic map product, DDK®, is especially designed for use on the Internet.
As the map contains information about tourists information, camping sites, golf courses and infrastructure, etc., it offers a wide variety of applications.

Use of DDK®

DDK® can be used internally in an organisation for planning and presentation or for external information via the Internet.

Furthermore, DDK® is suitable as a general orientation or background map to present other data such as:
  • Tourist information, including camping sites, golf courses and sights.
  • Selected localities, including the location of companies or houses.
  • Location of customers from a company’s customer database.
  • Planning of routes; the shortes route between two addresses.
Distribution networks, for instance location of a company’s dealers or retail shops.

Two versions

DDK® consists of two map versions with different background data:

DDK® (basis) with coloured terrain surfaces as background. This version has a traditional and well-known map design that has been improved with regard to readability on the screen.

DDK® photo with DDO®land 2002 as background. This cartographic product combines the wealth of details in an orthophoto with vector data and facilitates fast orientation and positioning.
