The Millennium Development Goals set the world a challenge to eliminate poverty by 2015. COWI responds to challenges of the new millennium by providing high quality development assistance.
COWI combines multi-disciplinary state-of-the-art advisory services adapted to specific requirements. We support development partners in participatory processes and capacity building in pursuit of holistic solutions. We create an enabling environment for sustainable development, by enhancing opportunities for all involved.

COWI’s experienced staff provide global services

Our greatest resource is our experienced staff. We are a total of about 250 development professionals, covering a broad range of expertise including socio-economists, anthropologists, human rights specialists, lawyers, educators and trainers, environmentalists, biologists, road and water engineers, foresters, geologists, planners, economists, and institutional planners. We work with projects, programmes and studies in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and offer services in English, Spanish and French. Our services cover all aspects of the programme and project cycles, as well as aid management, sector studies and policy advice.
