Road design has been one of COWI’s core businesses for many years. 3D visualisations add new value to the work of the road engineers.
Decisions have traditionally been taken on the basis of technical drawings commented on by the engineer.

Improved public information

A significant commitment by the general public has, however, increased the demand for more user-friendly presentations.

3D visualisation fits perfectly with these new requirements and the technology allows our professional employees, in close co-operation with the decision-makers, to evaluate the consequences of different design solutions and to present these solutions in a way that closely resembles reality.

Still pictures and video in 3D

Based on digital models, our experienced employees deliver still photographs that show the concerned projects from different angles, as well as video clips, which demonstrate how a drive along the proposed layout might be experienced.
