We analyse and assist in changing state-owned enterprises and private companies. We cover areas of restructuring, privatisation, corporatisation, operational reviews, financial viability assessments and valuation.

Public sector

Worldwide, the strategic rationale for government ownership of enterprises is being reassessed. Privatisation may be the goal, but state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are often not marketable without prior restructuring. We offer assistance in the restructuring process, making the SOEs viable, commercially-oriented and competitive.

We assist in corporatisation. This means the establishment of a well-defined and independent business unit based on a public service.

We perform operational reviews of SOEs covering present and future product markets, technical viability of production processes and technology, HR, marketing and management capabilities, financial performance and environmental issues

Private sector

We perform financial viability assessments and advise on reorganisation to create viable, commercially oriented and strategically focussed business units

We provide indicative valuation of assets and enterprises, based on discounted cash flows and comparisons with the market value of similar entities

We advise on corporate governance and analysis of sector regulatory framework.
