Capacity development, HRD and training
An increased demand for organisational performance requires focus on recruitment, utilisation, training and retention of human resources. COWI offers services in strategic capacity development, human resources development and training.
Capacity development
COWI offers a wide range of services related to capacity development, the main goal being improved organisational performance, including organisational strengthening, organisational learning, team development, human resources development and training.
Human resources development
COWI assists private and public organisations in specifying the organisations' strategy and planned interventions for recruitment, utilisation, and training of the organisations' human resources. Our services include training needs assessment for the entire organisation or selected staff groups, preparation of job descriptions and establishment of appraisal systems. The assistance may also include specific training plans for on-the-job training, peer assistance, coaching, mentor arrangements, curriculum development and training implementation.
Training services
COWI has developed a comprehensive range of training courses in managerial, administrative and technical topics. For course curriculum development, we apply a modular approach to make our courses flexible in terms of contents and timing, to meet the specific training needs of our target groups; our training approaches are characterised by participatory methods, problem-solving techniques, and user-friendly tools ready to apply. Training can be provided in English, French and Spanish.
