Surveying, area and rights
COWI has since the mid-1980's employed chartered surveyors and surveyors to carry out surveying projects like for instance hydrographic surveying and terrestrial laser scanning.
Since then, we have continously developed our competencies within this area, now conducting jobs all over the world by means of modern equipment.
Varied projects
The tasks range from traditional surveying to hydrographic surveying. From terristrial laser scanning to registration of traffic patterns in the morning. The performance of tasks is always adapted to the needs of the customer.
40 chartered surveyors
Today, more than 40 chartered surveyors and surveyors are employed with COWI. Our employees often work under very different climatic, cultural and linguistic conditions. This makes high demands on flexibility and adaptability. Our employees do possess these abilities.
We optimise the selection of method
Not many of COWI's jobs are alike. In multi-disciplinary companies, it is essential that you can compare and optimise the individual surveying methods.
We constantly work within the following fields:
Surveying and setting out
GPS and reflectorless total stations
Terrestrial laser scanning
Hydrographic surveying/bathymetry
Coordinate systems
Deformation surveying
Volume calculation
Inspection
Our results can be delivered in all current formats adapted to the project for which they are to be used.
