COWI wants to be a communicating company that engages in dialogue with its stakeholders.

In COWI, all employees are responsible for communicating about their own and the company's activities and for acting as ambassadors for COWI's brand. COWI's communication policy sets out the guidelines for communication throughout the COWI Group - and for everything we say and do and for our visual identity.

Aim/objectives

COWI's communication policy is a tool used to reach COWI's overall strategic goals by:

  • Strengthening COWI's reputation and brand

We appear as a unified company with one common identity, vision, mission and common goals and values.

  • Strengthening relations with our stakeholders

We create space for exchanging views and opinions, so that we widen our horizons, increase our sales and ensure our legitimacy in society and among our stakeholders.

  • Strengthening the motivation among employees

We give employees the necessary knowledge, insight and influence; they increase their motivation, corporate spirit, overview and drive.

  • Strengthening business

We share knowledge internally and externally to the extent that confidentiality and our business conditions allow us so that we also strengthen our business and competitiveness.

  • Being a responsible company

We communicate about our business objectives, strategies and results so that we comply with the requirements to a responsible company.

  • Promoting an active ownership for the company's investors

We ensure an open and transparent approach to our finances and share price developments, so that everyone has equal access to knowledge and opportunities for dialogue with the company.

We achieve our goals by:

  • Saying things as they are

We communicate openly and honestly so that our activities and decisions are as transparent as possible. We say what we do and do what we say - in an ongoing dialogue with our stakeholders.

  • Taking the initiative

We communicate proactively and ensure that communication is a natural part of all our decisions and are included in the planning of all initiatives, projects and activities.

  • Providing overview and context

We coordinate our communication so that it provides an overview and context for the target group. And we communicate in a way that is easy to understand with respect to the recipient so that we do not waste each other's time.

  • Ensuring access to knowledge and information

We make it easy to find the information that stakeholders require through media, materials and people. And we develop media that meets stakeholders' needs and requirements.

  • Measuring and following up

We measure the effectiveness of our communication to ensure that we meet our own and society's expectations and requirements.
