This section contains information om how COWI uses images, image style and size, copyright and animations
We combine large images in landscape format with small, square images with space around all and rounded corners. The corners are rounded in order to contrast with COWI's fifth element, the grey cut-off. The combination of rounded corners and the sharp, grey cut-off helps to soften the overall visual impression. See also 'Brochure'.Read about COWI's fifth element under 'Basic elements'.
We use close-ups that focus on people. Documentary images and images of products should be cropped closely. Alternatively, use a detail as it is difficult to see many details on small images. 'See also Image style'.
We use different image sizes on our website. See examples in the right-hand box. B1: Width 110 px x height 60 px B2: Width 110 px x height 110 pxB3: Width 300 px x height 141 pxB4: Width 365 px x height 180 px
