Today it is an important global service centre providing engineering, financial, IT, communication and HR services for entire COWI Group. Engineering
We work on a large number of global projects that contribute to a sustainable future. Structural and MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) engineering teams in Lithuania are involved in high-profile projects across Scandinavia. Does being involved in designing the tallest skyscraper in the Nordic countries or the largest metro project in Norway sound exiting to you? If yes, then everyone has a chance to co-create in the international project teams and learn from the best. Our structural team is especially skilled in precast concrete, steel, cast in-situ concrete and prestressed structures, and our MEP team focuses on hydraulic, air conditioning and heating, fire protection, electrical telecommunications and security systems.
Our Digitalisation and IT team works on a full range of design services, from software development to GIS data management, web solutions for cloud or local systems and much more. You could expect working on projects such as the implementation of the LER/GIS system for the Copenhagen Metro or developing registers for Greenland’s public institutions and marine databases for the Greenland's Environmental Agency for Mineral Resource Activities.
Group IT
Our team handles half of the entire Group IT processes worldwide and assists with both customer-facing and complex back-end IT systems. We are responsible for infrastructure management and support, information security activities and technologies, data analysis, extraction, validation and modelling, machine learning, artificial intelligence and more.
It can also be a good place to start your career in IT. Plenty of our colleagues have started from the customer service desk and became skilled IT professionals. You may join a team where line managers do not necessarily work in the same country, and you can work both independently and in teams.
Global Finance Services (GFS)
Our finance team handles financial services for more than 75% of all COWI Group projects globally, and we play a significant role in ongoing projects all around the world. The scope of our services cover everything from basic financial operations to project control.
We put a significant effort into reducing time-consuming manual operations through innovative digital solutions and robotics. This enables employees to focus on complex services that require more creativity and problem-solving skills to add more value for our customers and COWI.
communication and branding
The Graphic Design Centre is COWI’s in-house centre of excellence that delivers all visual solutions globally. Working on projects that require a wide range of skills, we can offer challenging and exciting tasks for both junior specialists and seasoned designers. In the Digital Platforms team, we act as a bridge between platform users and developers to ensure that the platforms serve people and the COWI brand in the best possible way. Our team makes sure to put COWI’s websites and intranet platforms to optimal use.
People and Culture
We are in the centre of events when leaders need to attract and onboard new colleagues and are also instrumental in creating an environment that supports our values and fosters a culture of inclusion, cooperation and simply having fun.
Our learning and development team provides employees access to various internal training possibilities and coordinates training activities globally while also contributing to major global HR initiatives and projects.
