The Albano area of the Royal National City Park in the district of Norra Djurgården, Stockholm, is set to play an important role in the city’s development as a knowledge region. The aim is to create an attractive education and research environment that will form a hub linking the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University.

In Albano around 150,000 m2 of university and college premises will be constructed in all, of which around 50,000 m2 are intended for student and researcher accommodation.

The buildings will be integrated into the surrounding park environment, with green roofs and large green terraces.
