The A8 motorway, Lithuania

A8 road is a part of European route E67, which is the most important highway between the Baltic States. The highway runs from Polish capital Warsaw to the Estonian capital Tallinn, a distance of 970 kilometres. 

COWI has performed detail design of reconstruction of the Lithuanian motorway A8 section from 32,78 km to 53,54 km. Total length of the designed road is 20,76 km. For this reconstruction 2+1 roads were designed, which were a novelty in Lithuania.
