Binley Junction Upgrade to tackle traffic bottlenecks in the Midlands

The Binley Junction Upgrade will deliver much needed improvements to the A46 Motorway in Coventry. The A46 is an important connection between the East and West Midlands, and currently experiences regular traffic bottlenecks.

The Binley Junction Upgrade involves a new flyover, to separate local and commuter traffic and bring relief to communities who rely on the A46. The GBP 61 million investment is designed to improve journey times and increase road safety for motorists. In addition, the improved traffic flow is expected to promote economic growth across the wider Midlands region.
