Køge North Station is a traffic centre and hot spot for the entire Copenhagen area in a unique junction where high-speed trains, local trains and freeways meet. The project consisted of a 225m long pedestrian bridge, a station, a park and ride facility and a vision model for the incorporation of these elements into the landscape.
The bridge is a new gateway to Copenhagen for the 90,000 people passing through the area daily, and a significant step on the commute for the expected 8,000 daily users of Køge North Station.
