Bridges Solutions

The Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Causeway is one of the largest and most prestigious transport infrastructure projects in Kuwait. It includes a 35 km long link across Kuwait Bay; a 15 km long road and bridge connecting the inner Kuwait City Entertainment City to the Shuwaikh Interchange; and a combination of low-level bridges, embankments and transition islands.

This new strategic route will act as an economic gateway by integrating the northern regions of the country with the densely populated central and southern regions. It will also improve safety, reduce traffic congestion on nearby roads, and cut down travel time from over 70 minutes to less than 20 between Kuwait City and the future ‘Silk City’ Subiyah New Town.
