Ringsted – Femern rail link and BIM, Denmark

The Ringsted - Nykøbing Falster section of the forthcoming Ringsted - Femern rail link is among the first infrastructure projects to utilise COWI’s BIM model.

This model stores large amounts of data on the project from 3D models and other information sources, which can be reached by all contributors to the project no matter their location.

The BIM technology creates flexibility and allows COWI to collaborate closely with its customers and partners throughout the entire project through a strengthened dialogue that ensures coherence between all project phases.
