Help drive business growth and create sustainable solutions
At COWI, we work to shape a sustainable and liveable world. To support our continued growth and help our engineering colleagues develop sustainable solutions for our customers, we are looking for a Junior Consultant to join our Business Development Team at our headquarters in Lyngby.
You will become part of a team of dedicated market specialists working across the COWI Group to identify opportunities, prepare compelling customer presentations and provide insights that support business decisions. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in business development while working alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop compelling, high-quality customer pitches and presentations.
  • Conduct desk research, market analysis and data processing to support insightful reporting and decision-making.
  • Work confidently with Excel and PowerPoint, including think-cell, and extract and analyse data from Power BI.
  • Simplify complex topics into clear, concise and impactful communication.
  • Take ownership of tasks, work independently and professionally, and drive activities forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support the Business Development Team across the COWI Group in its daily activities and business development initiatives.

Your skills. Our team. Together, we design the future.
To succeed in this role, you are curious, eager to learn and motivated to develop your potential. You enjoy collaborating with others, take a proactive approach to your work and are comfortable working independently when needed. You value a social and collaborative environment and are keen to contribute to a team that works across the organisation to identify attractive business opportunities and support decision-makers.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Be enrolled in a higher education programme in business, economics, political science or a related field.
  • Preferably have two to three years remaining in your studies.
  • Have a can-do attitude and a strong willingness to learn and develop.
  • Be available to work approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility around your studies and examination periods.
  • Be fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Be comfortable working from our office in Lyngby.
  • Hold Danish citizenship and be eligible to work in Denmark.
