Im Zuge des weiteren Ausbaus unseres Geschäftsbereichs Energy Transition & Distribution in Deutschland suchen wir einen erfahrenen Elektrospezialisten (m/w/d) für unseren Standort Hamburg.

In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie an Projekten rund um Umspannwerke, Netzanschlüsse, erneuerbare Energien sowie komplexe elektrische Infrastrukturen. Sie verbinden technische Expertise mit projektübergreifender Koordination und stehen im direkten Austausch mit Kunden, Partnern und internen Fachbereichen.

Die Position bietet Ihnen hervorragende Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten, beispielsweise in Richtung Lead Specialist, Projektleitung oder Fachbereichsverantwortung.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Eigenverantwortliche Planung und Bearbeitung von Projekten im Bereich Höchst-, Hoch- und Mittelspannung.
• Technische Verantwortung für elektrische Systeme innerhalb von Umspannwerks- und Netzanschlussprojekten.
• Erstellung, Prüfung und Weiterentwicklung von technischen Konzepten, Berechnungen, Spezifikationen und Planungsunterlagen.
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung relevanter Normen, Netzanschlussrichtlinien und Kundenvorgaben.
• Koordination der Schnittstellen zwischen Elektrotechnik, Bauingenieurwesen, Tragwerksplanung, Maschinenbau, Schutz- und Leittechnik, Telekommunikation sowie Automatisierung.
• Fachliche Unterstützung von Projektteams, Lieferanten und Nachunternehmern.
• Identifikation technischer Risiken sowie Entwicklung geeigneter Lösungsansätze.
• Begleitung von Projekten über den gesamten Lebenszyklus hinweg, von der Konzeptentwicklung bis zur Inbetriebnahme.
• Mitwirkung bei Design Reviews, HAZID-/HAZOP-Workshops, FAT/SAT-Abnahmen sowie Inbetriebnahmeaktivitäten.
• Unterstützung bei Angeboten, Ausschreibungen und der Weiterentwicklung von Kundenbeziehungen.
• Aktiver Beitrag zum Wissensaustausch sowie zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Methoden und Prozessen.

Ihr Profil

Sie verfügen über fundierte elektrotechnische Kenntnisse und arbeiten gerne in interdisziplinären Teams. Zudem bringen Sie idealerweise Folgendes mit:

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Energietechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in den Bereichen Energieversorgung, Umspannwerke, Netzanschlüsse oder elektrische Infrastrukturprojekte.
• Deutschkenntnisse auf mindestens C1-Niveau in Wort und Schrift sowie gute Englischkenntnisse.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse von AIS-/GIS-Umspannwerken, Primärtechnik, Transformatoren, Schaltanlagen, Erdungs- und Blitzschutzsystemen sowie Eigenbedarfssystemen.
• Gute Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Schutz- und Leittechnik, SCADA, Umspannwerksautomatisierung, Telekommunikationsschnittstellen und IEC 61850.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit IEC-, EN- und nationalen Normen, Netzanschlussrichtlinien und Anforderungen von Netzbetreibern.
• Praktische Erfahrung mit technischen Spezifikationen, Lieferantendokumentationen, FAT/SAT oder Inbetriebnahmen.
• Kenntnisse von Netzberechnungs- und Simulationswerkzeugen wie DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD oder PSS®E sind von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung mit Netzanschlüssen erneuerbarer Energien, Batteriespeichersystemen (BESS) sowie Offshore- oder Industrieprojekten ist wünschenswert.

Engineering for the Energy Transition

As we expand our Energy Transition & Distribution activities in Germany, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Specialist to strengthen our team in Hamburg.

You will work across substations, grid connections, renewable energy and complex electrical infrastructure projects, combining hands-on engineering with multidisciplinary coordination and client interaction. The role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership and develop towards a lead specialist, project manager or discipline lead role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver electrical engineering for EHV/HV/MV projects, covering substations, grid connections, renewable energy, industrial facilities and other complex electrical infrastructure.
• Take technical ownership of electrical systems within substation projects, acting as the primary technical interface and coordinating electrical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and review engineering solutions and documentation, including design concepts, calculations, technical specifications, engineering strategies and vendor documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, grid codes and client requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces across electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, telecom, SCADA, protection & control, safety and automation disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, discipline leads, suppliers and subcontractors, while identifying technical risks, interface challenges and engineering constraints and supporting appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support projects from concept through commissioning, contributing to design reviews, technical workshops, HAZID/HAZOP, FAT/SAT, construction and commissioning coordination, as well as client and stakeholder meetings.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships through proposals, technical tenders, scope definitions, effort estimates, technical clarifications and identifying opportunities for additional engineering services.
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing by applying engineering best practices and lessons learned across projects, while contributing to offshore and other energy projects depending on your experience and interests.

We are looking for an electrical engineer who combines broad technical understanding with the ability to take ownership and coordinate across disciplines.

On top of that, you will have:

• Degree in electrical engineering, power engineering or a comparable field, with relevant experience in energy systems, electrical infrastructure, substations, grid connections or industrial power projects.
• German at minimum C1 level is mandatory, both written and spoken, together with good English skills.
• Strong knowledge of AIS/GIS substations, primary plant, transformers, switchgear, earthing, lightning protection and auxiliary systems.
• Good understanding of protection & control, SCADA, substation automation, telecom interfaces and IEC 61850.
• Experience applying relevant IEC, EN and national standards, grid codes and utility requirements, together with practical experience in technical specifications, design reviews, vendor documentation, FAT/SAT or commissioning.
• Experience with power system analysis tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD or PSS®E is an advantage.
• Experience with renewable-energy grid connections and BESS integration is an advantage, as is experience from offshore or industrial energy projects.
