Do you want to help ensure reliable documentation for electrical infrastructure projects? Can you bring structure to complex documentation flows and secure complete project records? And do you have at least five years of experience in document control? Then join COWI as our new Document Controller.

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

We are looking for a Document Controller to join COWI and support our customer's electrical infrastructure projects. You will help ensure that both internal project documentation and supplier documentation are collected, organised and securely archived. Following an introduction to the relevant processes, methods and systems, you will work with minimal supervision to ensure complete project documentation through to final handover and project closure.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Set up archiving structures in the customer's electronic document and records management system and clarify which documentation must be collected and retained.
  • Collect and secure internal project documentation from customer-managed SharePoint sites, as well as photographic documentation and other project records.
  • Collect and secure supplier documentation, including collaborating with the customer's IT team on developing APIs or automation tools where needed.
  • Ensure that final as-built documentation is complete, that projects comply with the customer's archiving guidelines, and that sites and platforms are closed down at project completion.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • At least five years of experience in document control.
  • Experience with electronic document management (EDM) systems, an aptitude for IT and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing electronic workflows and as-built documentation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English.
  • A structured and thorough approach, enjoyment of process-oriented tasks, and a service-minded, collaborative and practical attitude. You are motivated and engaged, with a focus on helping projects succeed.

Your official COWI office location will be either Lyngby, Vejle or Aarhus. However, your primary workplace will be at Energinet in Erritsø, but Ballerup could also be an option, with some travel to Erritsø. You will report to Head of Discipline, Ioana Nicoleta Tuglui, who is based at COWI's headquarter in Lyngby.
