Do you want to help ensure quality in energy infrastructure projects? Can you turn quality requirements into practical activities and support projects through to handover? And do you have experience with quality management, audits and inspections? Then join COWI as our new Quality Consultant.

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

We are looking for a Quality Consultant to join COWI and support our customers’ construction and operational projects on assignments of both shorter and longer duration. You will help ensure that projects follow the customer’s governance framework and can be handed over to the operations organisation at the required quality level, with all supporting documentation. Your work may span electricity transmission projects, including cables, overhead lines and substations; gas distribution and transmission networks, including natural gas and biogas facilities and stations; oil pipelines; and gas storage facilities.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support projects in applying internal processes and tools and provide guidance and support on quality-related matters.
  • Consistently promote and embed quality management in projects so that documentation, products and deliverables meet the specified requirements
  • Plan, carry out and document the necessary quality activities in collaboration with the project team, including internal and external audits and inspections of project partners.
  • Ensure that quality-related experience and lessons learned are shared within the customer’s organisation.
  • Prepare project quality plans.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

You work in a structured and systematic way and take a proactive approach to building relationships. You collaborate and communicate on an equal footing with internal and external stakeholders involved in construction projects. You bring professional credibility in your field and can work independently.

On top of that, you will have:

  • An understanding of the structure and application of quality management systems.
  • Experience with project- and process-related work.
  • Experience with quality management activities in infrastructure and construction projects, including quality assurance (QA) and providing input to quality control (QC) activities.
  • Experience carrying out quality activities, including audits and inspections of internal and external parties involved in projects.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to communicate in Danish and English, both orally and in writing, at negotiation level.

Your official COWI office location will be either Lyngby, Vejle or Aarhus. However, your primary workplace will be at Energinet in Erritsø, but Ballerup could also be an option, with some travel to Erritsø. You will report to Head of Discipline, Ioana Nicoleta Tuglui, who is based at COWI's headquarter in Lyngby.
