Do you want to keep projects on track through effective coordination and high-quality documentation? Can you combine attention to detail with an overview of tasks, processes and deadlines? And do you have experience supporting project managers? Then join COWI as our new Project Coordinator.

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join COWI and support our customers’ construction and operational projects. You will help ensure that work follows the applicable project model and act as a sparring partner to project managers and provide coordination, administrative support and document management across assignments.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Take responsibility for project documentation, including preparing documents, reviewing and revising documentation, and ensuring it is archived in accordance with agreed rules.
  • Maintain project registers to support progress and results, and share lessons learned about document management across the organisation.
  • Act as a sparring partner to the project manager, assist with financial follow-up, and on your own coordinate, carry out and complete ad hoc tasks to relieve the project manager
  • Plan, facilitate and report on workshops, and organise meetings, prepare agendas and write minutes.
  • Develop process diagrams and guidance for project participants, and create, design and administer project workspaces.
  • Train and support users of project-related tools and prepare status reports and project website content.

Your official COWI office location will be either Lyngby, Vejle or Aarhus. However, your primary workplace will be at Energinet in Erritsø, but Ballerup could also be an option, with some travel to Erritsø. You will report to Head of Discipline, Ioana Nicoleta Tuglui, who is based at COWI's headquarter in Lyngby.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and external partners and bring a proactive and positive approach to your work. As the project’s administrative anchor, you are approachable, service-minded and flexible, while standing firm on quality requirements for processes and deliverables. You work in a structured way, maintaining an overview without losing sight of the details. You are curious about new tasks and also comfortable with routine work forming a substantial part of your day.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with document management and an understanding of its importance to project quality and handover.
  • Experience from a similar role in project coordination or project administration.
  • An aptitude for IT, the ability to work across administrative systems, a good understanding of Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP
  • The ability to organise and see tasks through from start to finish, working with both internal colleagues and external partners.
