Meet Jens Højgaard Christoffersen, Group CEO
Jens Højgaard Christoffersen joined COWI in 1995 and was appointed President and Group CEO in 2022. Prior to his appointment, he served on the Executive Board as Group Chief Business Development Officer, following a long-standing career within the company’s engineering and infrastructure businesses.
Over the years, Jens Højgaard Christoffersen has led large-scale projects and organisations in Denmark and abroad. The common thread through his career with COWI has been linking customer aspirations with the right people and technology to support the realisation of desired benefits for customers and society.
Prior to becoming CEO, he held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Business Development Officer, Group Technical Director, Regional Vice President in Business Line Denmark and Senior Vice President for the Road, Rail and Airport division.
Jens holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a diploma in finance (HD) from Copenhagen Business School.
