Meet Mats

Mats aims to develop services for energy and industry business stakeholders in the need for a better understanding of the decarbonizing revolution. He does this by utilizing and communicating the combined knowledge and strengths across disciplines at COWI. He can talk passionately about technical solutions that will enable the green transition, as well as economical and political challenges that are standing in the way.    

He has throughout his career worked with business development related to energy transition, ranging from energy system studies to strategic advice for authorities, energy companies, industries, and investors. Mats joined COWI in 2023 and has been involved with Preem’s transition of their Synsat plant and with Nordion’s plan to build Sweden’s first large scale hydrogen pipeline.
