District heating engineer - with a project solving state of mind

"Don’t worry, I’m an engineer! I can solve all the problems!" This is basically the life motto of district heating engineer, Anastazja Rebisz, who sees her INGENØRDy mind as a way of life.

At first, she thought it would be quite simple to connect users to a district heating system, but she quickly learned that it can be a complex task: “Designing a heating network is like piecing together a puzzle. We’re just one piece that has to slot in perfectly with all the other pipes. So, we’re looking for the best spot to fit into a perfect whole,” Anastazja describes.
As a passionate engineer, Anastazja is proud of connecting the district heating networks to people around the country, making sure that it works properly, as it could present a health risk, if people were left without heat or hot water.

Watch the video with Anastazja below to learn more about the challenges she faces as a district heating engineer.

INGENØRD [enɕəˈnɶɐ̯ˀd]: An honorary title for people who enjoy immersing themselves in professional or personal passions, a trait that can generate a never-ending train of thought or result in constant attempts to discover connections and solve problems – which often leads to heated conversations with other 'ingenørds'. Often, but not necessarily, they have a degree in engineering.
