About

Challenge

Everllence wished to consolidate two Danish locations to form one main location at the new campus situated west of Copenhagen.

Solution

Creating a new campus for international engine company Everllence’s Danish business. The campus will hold both administrative offices spaces, R&D facilities, logistic facilities, production and a social hub featuring an academy.

Value

The campus is inspired by the maritime world, and when you step into the new campus, the elements provide a clear reference to the maritime and technology-engineering world, yet everything is closely connected to nature and the surrounding society.

Everllence will consolidate its two existing locations to form a new main location, dubbed ‘The Valley Campus’, in Hedeland, near Roskilde in Denmark. The Valley Campus will house offices, production, logistic facilities, a research centre and a social hub featuring an academy.

Spanning a 175,000 m² plot, the project will comprise approximately 70,000 m² of gross floorage with state-of-the-art facilities for more than 1,500 colleagues. The architecture is inspired by the maritime world – the signature light green of Everllence’s giant two-stroke engines, the galleries of engine rooms, the revolving flywheels, and the durable materials that define the industry. These elements have been translated into a concept where the campus provides a clear reference to the maritime and technology-engineering world.

The project consists of two buildings; a four-storey office building and a social hub. The office building will include changing facilities, a gym and test laboratories on the ground floor. The social hub will be a three-storey circular building with four large workshops and a cafeteria near a central atrium on the ground floor. The ground floor will also have room for kitchen facilities, changing facilities, offices and a film studio. The first floor will accommodate offices, meeting rooms and classrooms. The second floor will include a large multi-room, storage areas, meeting rooms and a leisure area.
