Service management infrastructure optimises SatCen activities

Planning Solutions

COWI has provided the European Union Satellite Centre (SatCen) in Spain with technical assistance for elaborating a feasibility study and drawing up technical specifications on the development of a service management infrastructure (SMI) for the Copernicus Service in Support to EU External Action (SEA).

The SMI will consist of a platform enabling a fully operational workflow that will connect the European External Action Service (EEAS), the Service Coordinator (SatCen), the Geospatial Production Contractor and the end-users of the Copernicus SEA Service. The end-users include the above-mentioned EEAS, the European Commission and EU Member States.
