Efficient and modern logistics park

Al Wakrah Logistics Park is the largest logistics and industrial project in the Southern region of Qatar. It is one of several logistics facilities that promote an efficient, sustainable and modern supply chain of goods and materials throughout Qatar. The facility was developed by the National Logistics Task Force to support the requirements for hosting major international sports events. 

With a short timeline on both design and construction works, the project required a multidisciplinary approach and strong collaboration. The logistics park consists of three parcels and covers an area of approximately 593 hectares (5.93 km²). The project includes design of 30 km of internal roads, 2 major grade separated junctions outside the project limits and 20 at grade junctions. Moreover, the project required 125 hectares of landscaping and more than 180 km of wet and dry utilities including stormwater, foul sewerage, potable and fire water infrastructure as well as power and telecommunication systems.
