A building that COWI is working on used to house a dry-cleaning business but now accommodates a school, offices and homes.

COWI was tasked with investigating whether there were contaminants and health risks in the building and how to address any issues.
Analyses have been performed on soil and indoor environments and surface and deep groundwater.

As the planned activities are sensitive the requirements have been high.
The analysis indicated chlorinated contaminants in soil and groundwater and COWI was tasked with assessing the risks to see whether there was a need for decontamination.
