The energy and technology building (EnTek) is an advanced research and training complex which contains state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and research at the University of Bergen. There is also dedicated space for businesses in the energy and technology sector to promote knowledge-sharing and innovation in this field.

The project is the response to a vision set out by Science City Bergen in connection with an international architectural competition. The aim is to create a setting for new and exciting collaboration between academic research and industry, and the ambition is to be an international portal for innovation within energy, climate and technology. EnTek is intended to offer an inclusive and integrated architectural concept, in response to the visions, needs and goals of individuals, the university and the city of Bergen.
